CONSTRUCTION

PAGE Smoothbore TRUE BORE hose is constructed with an extruded Virgin fluoropolymer (PTFE) innercore reinforced with a tightly woven stainless steel braid. The braid serves a dual purpose, by (a) providing a protective covering and (b) allowing the hose to carry substantial operational pressure while maintaining a 4:1 safety factor.

NON-CONDUCTIVE & CONDUCTIVE

Some applications require the inner core to be conductive to dissipate static build up. PAGE offers all sizes of Smoothbore True Bore PTFE hoses with non-conductive (natural) and conductive (black) innercores.

PROTECTIVE COVERINGS

Harsh environments sometimes require assemblies with silicone fire sleeves, fluoropolymer heat shrink, polyolefin shrinkable chafe guard, spring guards or interlocked casings to prolong the life of the hose. PAGE International Hose manufactures every hose style with these options available.

SPECIAL BRAIDS

PAGE Smoothbore innercore is available with special outer reinforcement braids. Special Metal Braids such as Monel®, bronze, and Hastelloy® are also available. Non-metallic braids of Nomex®, KEVLAR®, Kynar®, PEEK™, nylon, and many others can be furnished on request.
