There are many different types of braid materials that can be used for reinforcement. Most popular would be stainless steel,

What is the difference between Page PTFE and
Dupont TeflonŽ?
TeflonŽ is a registered trademark of Dupont for
its brand of fluoropolymer resins. PTFE is the product name for
polytetrafluoroethylene resin which is a teflon-like material.
How can I make sure that I am ordering the right hose for the job?
